Fabulous... G4 Dual (mirrors) 867MHz, 2GB, OSX 10.2.8

Doing a little cleanup on my drives, trashing everything I
could---Discovered a bizarre little item, a 4K alias of
"AppleWorks 6", which simply refuses to be trashed. Claims
that "item is locked"... I have tried unlocking it,
changing its ownership and permissions, shredding it,
overwriting it, even opened it up with a disk editor and
tried to lobotomize it... No good. The item is still
firmly locked in place, refusing to be trashed.

QUESTION: What is the ultimate solution for these
mysteriously locked beasties? By "ultimate solution" I
mean the big guns. What does it take?
