Hi Eric,
I vote for the rev. 2 board. I have a B&W G3 400 rev.1 and the only way to add an extra HD is using a PCI ATA board (as pointed out in other posts). I used Sonnet's Tempo ATA board and added 2- 40 GB IBM DeskStar HDs.


The other big issue with the B&W G3 rev. 1 is the FireWire board had to be replaced with an Asante PCI Firewire board. In the Apple board, there were over 100 posts complaining about the B&W G3 Firewire board expiring. I believe that issue was confined to the rev. 1 board however I might be wrong. Good luck.
