Assuming Admin privileges, is there a file I can view wich will show me the other users passwords on a given machine or network?
I can, of course, log in as root if I want access to files. It's more help those who <ahem> may forget their password.
As a general rule in most systems NO ONE can see the passwords, Unix included. The password is used to encrypt some data and the encrypted data is what is stored as the "password". If someone forgets their password you just need to set a new password.
