I was able to get a hold of a MicroAdvantage DVD+-RW 4x2x40 burner which was used in a PC to play around with. It actually works quite well in my Beige G3 466 rev B computer. Mounts, boots on key of "c" in OS 9 with no problem. I burned a DVD-R with a little over 1 gig of pdf docs using Toast 5.2.3 with the UDF format but was disappointed that there wasn't a burn session option, so 3 gigs were wasted with that. I thought that UDF was a universal format like ISO 9660 but I was unable to get it to mount in a PC with a DVD rom to read the pdf docs. Also, I was not able to use DVD+R; it did not seem to be able to read it; whereas, it recognized the DVD-R. > --- You wrote: > Aside from the DVD movie playing ability, how well > does toast work with DVD burners in terms of data > for > Beige G3's?
