I have just acquired a Global Village modem that is identified on the
bottom as a "TelePort 56 Fax Modem" -- no "k56flex", "x2" or "v.90".
It's in the old Platinum form-factor, not the newer Zoom-style, & it has
"Boca Research, Inc." listed as the maker. Globalvillage.com doesn't seem
to have much info on this model, & I can't tell if it's been flashed to
something more modern, or even if it works, without powering it up.

But there's the rub -- it doesn't have it's power brick. I have a bunch of
old adapters for various things, but before I blow it up: Anybody know
what the specs are for the input -- & more importantly, the polarity of
the plug?

Thanks in advance,
