I read somewhere, that in OS X, you can use the developers tools to access the Final Cut Express plist file. I believe you can edit the plist file and change the code line from AGP to PCI. You can use the Property List Editor to accomplish this. I don't recall any more than this. If I remember where I read this trick, I will pass it along.
