Put my CompUSA 4 port USB card (older USB card, USB 1.1, OHCI compliant) in G3 Beige MT, OS 8.6. Installed Olympus Software. Connected Olympus C-4000 digital cam to USB card. Launched Olympus software, doesn't find camera. Try to install USB Mass Storage 1.3.5 patch. Installer poops out, says it cannot install on my system.
Olympus manual says under OS 9.0+ no need for USB Mass Storage 1.3.5 patch. So I try to install 9.2.1 on a second hard drive. And set it as startup disk. When I boot 9.2.1 HD system hangs, error type 11, every fwiggin time. Long day trying to download lousy stills from this fwiggin cam. Please help. I wonder if USB PCI Card is bad. in ASP it is described as, and I quote: PCI Slot card type: pci card name: multifunc-device card model: not available card rom#" not available card revision: not available card vendor id: -1 Please please help?
