I wonder if it's their external cases that are the problem. My brother bought an external SCSI setup from them and had some troubles with the first one, sent it back. I still get big SCSI drives for internal and external boxes on my systems, although I don't use OWC cases for them, and I've never had a problem.


SCSI drives are still fine tech and indeed still the best (and only solution for some specs) solution if you need high rpm's and big capacity, certainly not the cheapest though.
