I found some info on Formac Studio that does suggest the picture quality will better and that it will give me more options. However, I wonder if the extra expense is worth it since I really won't be doing any fancy recording or editing. Based on the suggestions I have received and some additional research, I have narrowed my choices down to Formac and EyeTV.

I've had very positive experiences using a Formac Studio TVR. It's expensive - at least it is here in the UK - but worth the money.
