I am not surprised, its not the first time the installer doesn't install everything it needs to. I remember one time there was no control strip anywhere (and the notepad) somehow I had to reinstall the OS and make sure they were selected in order for them to get installed.


Oh BTW for those of you who don't know
My Mac is a G3 333 Beige 256MB RAM running OS 10.2.4 and 9.2.2, she is happy this way I guess.
