John,

Do you know of a few examples(camera manufacturers and
model numbers) of the DV cameras which can do that, or
what function of a DV camera it is that allows for
working from the VCR thru the DV camera into the
computer?  I'd like to know more
about that if anyone knows.  It looks like the DV
camera is being used as a A/V caputre bus
analog/digital converter.  Handy indeed, although a
kind of "bucket brigade" system.
