If you already have a camera that does NOT do the above, another alternative
is the ADS A/V Pyro Link ($165), a converter box that takes analog TV from
RCA plugs or S-video and converts it to digital Firewire.  I bought one of
these after failing to be able to move an old ixTV card from a beige G3 to a
G4 running 9.2.2. (If anyone has been able to run an ixTV tuner card in a G4
tower, I would appreciate any suggestions.)
