It can be as simple as installing it. Check XLR8yourmac.com in their CDRW compatibility database.


I've done three drives that way (two cdrw's and a DVD-R/RW CD-R/RW), all cheap ones bought at Office Max and all worked just fine.

It depends on your OS...OSX is more likely to support them than OS 9.
