I have a Quicksilver 2002 (933Mhz, 768 Megs of RAM), that will reboot at strange intervals, and sometimes won't even get to the desktop without shutting itself off. The error message in the system.log is a consistant:

"Apple PMU::Forced Shutdown Cause = -122"

Anyone have ANY IDEAS what the heck could be causing this?

The machine does the same thing (shuts down) while booting into OS 9.

I've also reset the PMU, and it still does it, and I've tried swapping out the ram chips as well.

Quicksilver 2002 933Mhz; Mac OS X (10.3.x); 768 ram
