Well, I broke down and got a Pioneer 107 DVD R/W for my G4 Mirror Drive Door. Installation went smoothly once I got the original drive out. A major problem with this drive on a MDD is the fact that the tray�s square corners hang on the rounded corners of the MDD opening. I had to cut the corners of the 107 tray at a 45 degree angle to get the tray to slid out.
