Yes there is.
- Open IE and go to preferences. - Go under Receiving Files and highlight File Helpers. - Find "Portable Document Format" and highlight it. - Click the "Change" button. - At the bottom of the new window you'll see a "Handling" area. - Check the options in the menu for "How to handle:" - Chose "Post-process with Application." - Click the "Browse" button and choose Acrobat Reader.
Then when the PDF is downloaded it will open in Acrobat Reader instead of using the "Plug-in"
