Probably a dumb question, but how does one know which of the faster G4 mini-tower Macs can boot into some form of OS 9. I want a G4 machine that will handle Panther, but which will boot in OS 9 to get the most use out of some earlier applications and SCSI external hardware. The new 1.24MHz G4s that Apple is offering now says they will boot in OS 9 but some slower MHz G4s say that the aren't bootable in OS 9. I realize that the G5s cannot boot in OS 9, and I don't believe they even accept OS 9.2.2 in "classic mode". Any suggestions or experience in this area appreciated? Don Parsons
