I now have both the OS 9.2.2 drive and the OSX drive hooked to the primary IDE cable and it will boot from the X drive just fine. I still don't know how to do the selective update, only choice I see when the updater runs is 10.2.8. Also, if I go to System Preferences and change the startup disk to the OS 9.2.2 drive, how do I get it to boot from the OSX drive again? Will it appear as a choice then under startup disk in 9.2.2? -- Just a message from Doug... -------------------------------------------- http://users.adelphia.net/~slugg0/index.html
