Hi all, I got a DVD-movie (.iso) from a friend, copied it to my HD and would like to play it from there. He has a Titanium PB with OSX and uses VLC media player which supports only OSX.
I've got a beige MT 300 Mhz, 512 MB RAM with OS 9.2.2. Is there a software player that would play a .iso-movie (or a mounted Toast DVD-image for that matter)? Another question for the techies: I just installed a USB/FireWire combo-card with a NEC/Via-chipset in my beige. The USB-part works flawlessly, I could install an Apacer multi-card-reader w/o a hitch but in System Profiler there are only the three USB-ports, although the card is seen as a USB/FireWire-card. Which chipsets support FireWire on the Mac? The Techie from the vendor (www.delock.de) of my card just told me that a Via-chip is not supported by Apple. Of course the retailer told me otherwise :-( Any help is highly appreciated. TIA. Bye, Jrg. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance Tax Center - File online.
