broken firmware -- a SCSI device is uniquely identified by scsi bus nr
(i.e. card and channel), and its ID. Luns's are used e.g. for
CD-changers and suchlike where one device with one SCSI ID can offer
more than one service. You scanner answers for every possible LUN
instead of the default 0 only and therefore shows up 8 times (once for
each LUN tried). The old card obviously does not check all possible
LUN's.

As long as it's working at least as one of the detected devices I
would'nt worry too much about it.
