How the heck do I get the case open on my beige Power Mac G3 minitower
in order to install more RAM?!

I've opened the left side many times to access the bays, but it looks
like I need to remove the cover on the right side in order to access the
motherboard. Unfortunately, the manual is still in a box somewhere from
our recent move and all I get at the Apple site for manuals is tech
specs, no simple diagrams to tell me what I need to know!

Low End Mac just says: pull off side of Mac, remove latches, and fold
out. Unfortunately I am stuck at step one. Maybe it's just stuck because
it's never been pulled off before?

I believe the beige G3 tower uses the 8600/9600 case...

-unplug power & monitor cables from back panel

-remove left sidecover

-lay machine on right side

-turn 2 transparent green latches, one at front (under drive bays), one at rear (under powersupply)

-lift bottom of powersupply & swing over, using the transparent green handle under PS

-RAM exposed!
