You don't use an adhesive.  Use a thermal paste that does nothing to adhere
the heatsink to the processor. It is meant to wick heat from the processor
into the heatsink.  Get Arctic Silver.  It's the best.  Or use any thermal
paste you find in Radio Shack...preferably one with a silver content.
