To the best of my knowledge, most of the early B&W's shipped with OS 8.6 when they first came out. My B&W G3/350 (Rev.2) came with OS 8.6 pre-installed when i bought it in Oct. 1999. I only recently upgraded to 9.2.1 after purchasing an original copy on Ebay. 8.6 was a wonderfully stable OS and that was part of the reason why I didn't shift over to OS9 sooner. I've upgraded to 9.2.2 and am glad I made the leap.

How did you get 8.6 on your B&W? I thought the minimum OS was 9.0?
