Background:

I have a Beige G3 desktop with the following specs:

Rev 2 ROM
512 MB RAM
Sonnet Trio Tempo
120 GB Maxtor IDE HD on the Sonnet card
OS 9.2.2 and OS X 10.3.3 in separate partitions and using Xpostfacto
Flashed Sapphire 64 MB Radeon 7000
Linksys PCI wireless card that functions as an airport card

Problem:

I installed one of the OWC $149 Mercury ZIF CPU upgrades into today and then
installed Power Logic's CPU director 1.4 to control the L2 cache. I
jumpered the board for 500 MHz CPU @66 MHz Bus. I set the L2 at 2:1 per the
OWC website and used the default for Speculative Access which was on. Other
than setting the L2 Cache I didn't make any other changes. I closed the app
and rebooted. Now the system doesn't come up. I can get into OS 9. Is
there a way to deactivate CPU Director from within 9?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Thomas
