Well, if you save the footage as .mov or .mpg format and burn it to your DVD-R/+R disc all you are doing is burning footage as a DATA file NOT a DVD movie. Toast can burn the movie, but you will have to create the DVD video content (i.e. put all the footage together along with the menus, etc.) using a DVD authoring program (i.e. iDVD, DVD Studio Pro, etc.). Toast CAN'T create DVD video content. When you try to burn a DVD movie, Toast will try to search for the "Video_TS Folder" which your DVD authoring program should have created.
