I can power the switch down and up and it is restated. I can unplug the machine from the switch and plug it back in and it is fine. There seems to be something about the ethernet connection that does not hold for over about 3 to 5 days. I have changed all the obvious things such as cables.
What would you recommend if I install a pci ethernet card and use it instead of the internal ethernet? Are there any tricks I need to know? Which card has proven to be the best choice?
I will be on jury duty tomorrow so I won't be able to respond until tomorrow night.
