I did some Googling (footer panther word) and found a similar problem.
Funny, I checked on Google (don't like the term "googling" ;o) using footer and word etc, but never found that page... ---
"Format->Document->Margins
Change the setting "From edge" "Footer" from 0.5" to 0.6"
I did try that, but might have another fiddle... ... HOWEVER!!!
How come this problem can appear on a brand new Mac with a fresh install of Office and the latest printer driver ????
