Thanks for the link.. Read the article, however I found it a bit confusing
w/ all the references to multipliers and bus speeds..
Needless to say, is there someone who has successfully jumpered their 300
to run at 333? And if so, could you email with your jumper locations?

Don't worry about changing the bus speed, that is for serious overclocking geeks and causes the most problems in overclocking. Once you remove the jumper block, do the following if you have a Blue and White 300, beige instructions follow:

For B&W
Put jumpers on 5,6,8 and 9 to set the bus speed at 100MHz and leave these jumpers alone.
Put a jumper on 1 to set the multiplier to 3.5 to get you to 350MHz (Multiplier x bus speed = processor speed)

For beige:
Put jumpers on 5,6 and 7 to set the bus speed at 66.67MHz and leave these jumpers alone.
for 333MHz put a jumper on 2 to set the multiplier to 5 (5 x 66.67=333)
to try 366, put jumpers on 2 and 3

You know you have overclocked too far when you start getting crashes.

The way I learned to overclock (on a 6100) was to take the speed up to where the Mac becomes unstable (SAVE OFTEN WHILE YOU ARE TRYING THIS) then back down one or two settings and everything should be fine.

Also remember that there may be heat issues when overclocking. If you have a lot of HDs or cards in your Mac, you may want to add an additional fan.

Hope this clears things up.
