in that case, my best guess is that the jack is bad, or has cracked/cold solder joints or that the chips have a problem, or possibly that the card is not properly seated. it would be worth while to pull and reseat the a/v card if possible. barring that, another a/v card should do the trick. if it worked with the 7100, it's definitely some problem with the beige a/v card, or less likely software (are you using the same software that you used on the 7100?). only other guess would be settings for the a/v card (if it has them) or some problem syncing the a/v input to the monitor. what exactly is wrong with the picture again? seriously though, it could easily be a connector problem or a bad solder joint on the a/v card.
