In trying to see which CD I had, I tried to pry off (suggestion) the front. I did get enough to read the drive, but now cannot open the drive. Sort of gave up on that one.

ug. The drive info is usually on a sticker on the underside. You have to pull the drive out to view it. In the alternative, if the drive is connected and powered up, Apple System Profiler should give you the make/model,etc.


New, well about 3 weeks now. I cannot "send or reply" from my primary e-mail inbox. Each time I try, the system freezes.

The wise crack answer is that this is SOP for Netscape. That being said... Maybe your inbox (or other mailboxes) is corrupted? Try moving your mailboxes out of the way temporarily.
