Hi Nicole I've found the Mozilla based browsers (Mozilla, Netscape, Neoplanet, Firefox) tend to lock up when you try to go back too fast. I've replicated this on Pc's (boo hiss) and Macs (yay for the underdog) Is this a replicatable problem? Does it right itself or do you have to force quit the application?
If you can replicate the problem, then stop doing whatever it is that your doing that makes it all go very wrong ;o).
