Larry, the OS 9 install CDs are machine specific. Some can be used if it's within the same "family" of machines.

Two ways to be sure:

1) Attempt to boot to the system CD. If it doesn't work it'll say so.
2) If you make it to the desktop, start the install. If not supported, it'll say so.

I have read that the PCI, AGP and GE PowerMac G4s had different
install CDs that shouldn't be mixed (read on Apple's site), does
it apply to 9.2 ?
