This sounds silly but have you tried HP's site for driver downloads? Also came across a HP DeskJet Driver X v1.2 that seems to be a more generic driver, so go to http://www.macupdate.com/reviews.php?id=6604 And check out what other folk think, but there seems to be an issue whereby HP have delibertely made the Panther version of the driver stop printing once a low ink warning is displayed, thus forcing you to buy more HP ink cartidges even though there may be enough ink left to print half a ream of A4. Hope this helps. Pete

Hello All, I have a Beige G3/500 with 512 MB RAM, 9 GB HD and 120 GB HD. I am running OS 10.2.8 and Classic OS (9.2.2) underneath. I have an older HP Deskjet 870Cse that works fine with Classic but I cannot find drivers for it in 10.2.8. I cannot see the expense of discarding a perfectly good printer just because it has no USB port. Suggestions TIA, Dan -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
