Hello All,
I have a Beige G3/500 with 512 MB RAM, 9 GB HD and 120 GB HD. I am running OS 10.2.8 and Classic OS (9.2.2) underneath. I have an older HP Deskjet 870Cse that works fine with Classic but I cannot find drivers for it in 10.2.8. I cannot see the expense of discarding a perfectly good printer just because it has no USB port.
Worse yet, it has AppleTalk so you could still connect it that way but there is no driver for it. I have some HP 85X printers which use the same driver as the 870. I ended up getting a newer printer, the HP 5850 which has both wired and wireless Ethernet connections (as well as USB).
