Nice list people,
Here's the problem. I've replaced the stock DVD drive in my 450 G4 with a Pioneer Superdrive with no problem. I now have put the pulled DVD drive in a Firewire case and want to use it as an external DVD drive. I've changed the jumper settings on the drive from Master to Slave but it is not recognized by OS 10.3.3. The System Profile only shows one peripheral (a SmartDisk CDRW). Am I forgetting something here or is there another step I should take?
