To amplify on Steve's advice, changing the zif, when you upgraded original zif to the 450mhz zif, necessitates changing the jumper settings in order to allow the comp to boot. I upgraded a Beige in the same manner and had the same problems until I changed the configuration of the jumpers. A jumper chart is available at OWC's website; the jumpers are available from a number of individuals who belong to this list.
