The "raw" boards are actually identical between PeeCee-only and Mac-only
versions.

In either case, the LSI chip (Promise PDC20262) and most of the other
components will be identical between the two versions.

If the ROM is identified as UltraTek, then it is the Mac-only version,
whereas if the ROM is identified as Promise, then it is the PeeCee-only
version.

Another difference is the component side of the Mac-only board will be
more-or-less devoid of writing, whereas the component side of the
PeeCee-only board will be printed with "CE Ultra66" and "Promise
Technology, Inc" in white ink.

Additionally, the solder side of the Mac-only board will have a paper
label which states "Promise UltraTek/66 IDE RAID". This label is the
Mac-only functional equivalent of the PeeCee-only printing "CE Ultra66"
and "Promise Technology, Inc" [ * ] .

Also, the TLA number, found on a paper label on the solder side, will
usually be xx-xx-xY-xx-xx-xx for the Mac-only version, and
xx-xx-xS-xx-xx-xx for the Mac-only version.

If the board is one of those which has been "diverted" from PeeCee-only
to Mac-only, then all bets are off.

[ * ] The key here is the PeeCee-only board is identified as "Ultra66 ...
Promise Technology, Inc", whereas the Mac-only board is identified as
"Promise UltraTek/66 IDE RAID". The devil is in the details.
