Actually, I think that my QuickSilver G4 has potential to fit in up to 8
drives ... Currently I have an IBM 40GB HD and the LiteOn CD-RW drive
connected to first channel and a 120GB WD HD connected to second channel ...
Then I have 2x 120GB WD HDs running RAID on my Acard ATA RAID card ...
However, none of the drive is on each other, which mean I don't put them
together to avoid heat problem (if there is any) ... Actually, I have a SCSI
card plugged in, but I just took the 4 GB SCSI HD out as I don't use it much
often ... What I mean for 8 drives is 2 each at the base of the machine and
two for the drive bays ... :)

Hope this help! ;)

Best regards from,
