hi larry, did the same with an adaptec 2906 card in a g4 450mhz - worked great with my old cd-burner and hd.
the only extra advice i have (and i maybe wrong on this) but is scsi limited by the slowest device on the chain? so if you connected a scsi scanner and a sooper fast hd on the same chain, the hd would slow down? the cool thing about the card is it has two channels - internal and external. hth, jake -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
