hi larry,

did the same with an adaptec 2906 card in a g4 450mhz - worked great with my
old cd-burner and hd.

the only extra advice i have (and i maybe wrong on this) but is scsi limited
by the slowest device on the chain? so if you connected a scsi scanner and a
sooper fast hd on the same chain, the hd would slow down?

the cool thing about the card is it has two channels - internal and
external.

hth,

jake
