Hello:
Which 48-bit LBA, UATA 133 card works well with the B&W Rev. 1 ?
I have a Rev 1 B&W skeleton and I may spend some money on an UATA card to give it a new life.
Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks, Phil Wong

Absoluely not.
Remember, the onboard controller IS an UATA or EIDE controller which looks to the MacOS like an UATA or EIDE controller.
The PCI card is a UATA controller which looks one to the MacOS like a SCSI controller, on account of the intervention of SCSI Manager 4.3, and the special firmware resident in the PCI card.
Sadly, all the manufacturers except ADTX got their messages crossed and made it so you have to reinitialize a drive which is moved from a true EIDE controller to an EIDE-SCSI "bridge" (even if it is a PCI card).
A drive which is managed by an ADTX card is interchangeable between SCSI (using the ADTX card) and direct (using an EIDE-based PowerBook).
