B/W G3 Oddity

[Dallas Almond]

I have a B/W G3/450. For a while I was using an Apple Design II 
keyboard and Apple mouse II, both ADB. I'm running Mac OS X 10.3.4. I 
recently bought a MacAlly iKey & mouse, both USB. The G3 runs alot 
faster, apps load quickly, and it boots faster too, same in OS 9.2.2... 
this is odd but welcome.
