Dear J Sand, If you just want to load 10.2.8, choose it from Startup Disk from Control Panels (OS 9) or System Preferences (OS X) ... If you want to get rid of OS 9, you just need to put in your OS 9 Install CD and Uninstall it ... If you want to MERGE the OS 9 partition with your OS X partition and uninstall OS 9 ... It is almost impossible, and even with Partition Magic (a windows utilities that can merge/add/remove partition), it is not advisable to do that ... My advice is, set your OS X drive as startup disk, then use your OS 9 partition as Classic environment ... If you don't use Classic apps at all, you can just uninstall the OS 9 and use the partition for other purpose ... Reformatting whole HD is just too much of hassles ...
If somehow, you mean both your OS 9 and OS X is in same partition, just uninstall OS 9 if you don't like it ... Good luck! ;) Best regards from, pmg4lktan > > I wish to load just osx 10.2.8 on my drive and get rid of the os9 partition. > > How do I go about it? > > TIA > > _________________________________________________________________ > Get tips for maintaining your PC, notebook accessories and reviews in > Technology 101. http://special.msn.com/tech/technology101.armx > -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
