I'm just about ready to load Jaguar onto my G3/350/ATX box. Some

Safari? Does the 8 mg partition deal still hold? I did a 10.0 on a G3/8500 a

Try to keep the Mac at the bare minimum of hardware. ie: 256MB RAM, on-board video and no PCI cards that are not needed to run the mac.
Add any additional hardware after installation of OS X is complete.
