Andy --- end of quote --- It's not a MacAlly card. It's a SmartDisk usb2/firewire combo card that I've had for some time. I came across the MacAlly web page which browsing about Beige and usb 2. Apparently some of their cards do work on Beige. This is interesting. I guess there are some boards that will support usb 2 but don't require the later pci specs.
