No they weren't, like Dana said there are Rev1 and Rev2 B&W G3's, I myself have a Rev.1 350 oc'd to 400. There are even reports of mixed revisions with a Rev.1 mobo, but with the dual drive bracket from the Rev2 which Dana's referring to. See this link for the new features of the Rev2:
