Re: CDRW Drives

There seem to be two problems, for me at least, with the combo cards. 
First, they are expensive, and second, there seem to create problems 
like freezing and corruption (I found this in several articles on the 
internet).
Any comments?

Replace the USB only card with a combination USB-Firewire card. 
Several different brands that are known to play nice with Mac's.
