This has been a down day for me and my G3mt using OS 10.2.8.
I upgraded my financial program on Quicken 2004 and then tried to back it up on an Iomega disk. Soimething went wrong and the disk froze in position. I had to restart. I then found the disk a to be not recognizable and my Quicken update was lost. I have an external HD that I use for backup. I call it OS 10.2.8 BU.
I turned it on so that it was recognized. However, I can't bring it up as my primary system. I tried to use the restart method in System Preference. I tried to bring it up using XPostFacto to no avail.
Each time the computer opens in OS 9.2 which I have on my main HD. I've never had this trouble before. I've always been able to go right into the external drive.
Any suggestions?
