Does anyone have information on freeze-ups with Disk Warrior 3.0.2 ( and 3.0) on a Beige Desktop G3 with OS 10.2.8, an upgraded processor and over 600 MB of RAM? The freeze-up occurs during "Rebuilding Directory Step 6: Constructing optimized replacement directory". Thanks for any suggestions.

I was having unexplained crashes while repairing permissions or running DiskWarrior 3.0.2 on a G3/233 AIO with OS 10.2.8, a G3/300 processor and 352MB RAM. It turned out to be a flaky hard drive. Replacing the drive cured the problems. That said, the first drive I tried had other issues of its own.

Unacceptable RAM can also cause strange problems with disk intensive issues.
