What's the intended uses for this G4? For anything other than gaming, you
don't need such a powerful card. Even for gaming, no G4 can really supply
a GF4 Ti with data rapidly enough to make full use of its speed.
IMO, the best choice (esp for an early G4) is a flashed PC GeForce3, less
than 1/3 the price of a GF4Ti and in these systems offering virtually the
same performance. I have both GF3 and GF4Ti and see very similar game
frame rates in both my 450 Sawtooth and my 800 QS.
If you have access to an AGP PC you can flash yourself, else buy one pre-flashed on eBay.
What is the best pci video card for my Yikes g4 box????
