I am a teacher and have a variety of Macs networked in my room using Appletalk with "phonenet" connectors. I just got a g3 to add to the network. However, the g3 is not recognized on the network nor does it see the network. I have tried different connectors and phone cords and even both modem and printer ports
Which G3 Mac? What OS is the G3 running?
Make sure AppleTalk is turned on from the control panel (not from the Chooser) and pointed at the proper port. Then turn on File Sharing...
